Charities

The World Drinks Awards works with selected charities throughout the year. Left over product is provided to charities to either be auctioned off to raise funds for the charities or to be used at fundraising events.

Break

The World Drinks Awards regularly provides breaks with left over samples to be used at charity events and auctions.
Break’s core business is the provision of children’s homes for Looked After Children in their home Local Authority.
Break has six mainstream children’s homes in Norfolk and Cambridgeshire and a Therapeutic Fostering Service offering single placements to traumatised young people.

Walking with the wounded

Established in 2010, Walking With The Wounded provides vulnerable veterans’ independence through employment. WWTW offers assistance to vulnerable veterans who have been physically, mentally or socially disadvantaged by their service and assists them in gaining independence through new long term careers outside of the military. The Benevolent

The Benevolent is the trade charity that provides help and support to current and former employees of the drinks industry and their families. The Benevolent is the only charity that supports employees, or former employees, from every area of the UK drinks industry providing practical, emotional and financial help. The charity supports our colleagues facing a variety of difficult circumstances, including serious illness, disability, issues with stress or depression, with debt or any family crisis such as a seriously ill partner or child. To be eligible for support you must have spent at least 2 years in the drinks industry, which means that if your role involves producing, selling, marketing, serving, sourcing, or any job involving alcohol drinks brands in the on-trade or off-trade or support sectors of the UK market, then The Benevolent is 'Here to Help' you or your family.
